HISTORY

ONCE UPON A TIME...

It is from Faenza, in the town of the ancient palio called Niballo, precisely in the Rione Bianco, or Borgo Durbecco, that the Tanesini family has its tradition. It has been operating in the footwear sector for generations. The company was born in the 1940s when Tanesini Senior created men's shoes in a small workshop in Faenza, a city that still hosts the business headquarters today. Research, recovery and valorisation of traditions pave the way for the heirs.

1940

In 1990 Massimiliano and Mirko Tanesini brothers created the Divine Follie brand: a line of elegant and casual women's footwear which represents the result of a long tradition that has lasted for three generations.

1990

It is the year of the boom: to meet a demanding and dynamic market, in search of new proposals and exclusivity, it becomes necessary to interpret the concept of ready to wear very well. The Divine Follie brand begins to be appreciated as an important company on Italian and international markets.

1996

The constant growth of the company means the arrival at Centergross (beginning of 2014). Divine Follie needs to make a leap in quality, consolidating its foreign clientele. A radical change from every point of view, especially for commercial and organizational commitments.

2014

The company has grown, but the "feeling"" remains familiar, also in spirit. Human contact meets new technologies, with a renewed communication strategy on social networks, the new website and the B2B Area dedicated to the sales network and stores. The next step? B2C E-commerce, for all private people who want to purchase the Divine Follie items with one click!
